About Me

Andy W Marsden writes horror stories amidst the cobwebs in his parents’ attic whilst eating Jaffa Cakes, drinking too much coffee, and listening to heavy metal. He is a big fan of Evile, Stone Circle and HIM, but likes many, many other bands. He can usually be found at local gigs around the Huddersfield area, (though ‘local’ is often redefined as Leeds, Sheffield or Manchester), don’t be afraid to say hello.

Sharing a birthday with Bela Lugosi, born in the George Eliot hospital in Nuneaton, it is no surprise he has a love of horror and writing, and works to combine them in his spare time from the Dreaded Day Job of a local DIY store. He loves socialising and making new friends, but do not disturb him if he is writing. He also has a thing for girls with multicoloured hair (goth girls a specialty).

Currently a member of the British Fantasy Society, and the Association of First Aiders.

Regular supporter of the Mental Health Foundation, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Friends of Slaithwaite Spa, The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust, and Kirkwood Hospice.
